Google Cloud is a full hyperscale platform: compute, storage, networking, and a strong data and AI stack — BigQuery for analytics, Vertex AI for models, and access to Gemini.

For AI work its pull is the tight integration between its data warehouse, its model platform, and Google's own frontier models.

Where it's ideally used

A natural home for an AI stack when an organization is on Google Cloud or leans on BigQuery and Gemini.

Where it doesn't fit

As with any hyperscaler, more complexity than a small project needs — and less compelling outside the Google ecosystem.
