Comet Lab ("we", "us", "our") operates cometlab.in. We build AI-powered software and workflow automation for businesses. Our registered contact email is hello@cometlab.in.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what you give us directly:

  • Contact & enquiry forms — name, email address, and any description you provide about your project.
  • Booking data — name, email, and phone number when you book a discovery call via our scheduling tool.
  • Cookies & analytics — we use cookies to understand how visitors use our website. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data through this website.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry or confirm your booking.
  • To add you to our CRM so we can manage our business relationship with you.
  • To send you transactional emails related to your booking (confirmation, reminders).
  • To improve our website using aggregated, anonymised analytics.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Who we share data with

We use the following third-party services, each of which processes data on our behalf:

  • ZeptoMail (Zoho) — transactional email delivery.
  • Calendar — appointment scheduling tool (securely self-hosted on our servers).
  • CRM — customer relationship management (securely self-hosted on our servers).
  • Google Calendar / Google Meet — video call links and calendar invites for booked appointments.

5. How long we keep data

We retain contact and booking records for as long as the business relationship is active, or for up to 3 years after last contact — whichever is earlier. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).

7. Security

We use HTTPS across all our services. Access to our CRM and internal tools is restricted to authorised personnel only. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
